Frank Gonzalez was born in Los Angeles but his story is West Texas. His family moved to Odessa when he was three years old, and the Permian Basin has been home ever since. He graduated from Permian High School in 1991 — the same community he still serves today.
After graduation Frank went to work in the oil and gas industry — spending 16 years as a Directional Driller in the field and 7 years in the office as a Directional Coordinator. Twenty-three years learning how to keep wells on track, manage expectations under pressure, and communicate clearly when it matters most. Those aren't just industry skills — they're exactly what clients need in a real estate agent.
When the opportunity came to join Stacy and make SGR Group a true family business, Frank didn't hesitate. He earned his REALTOR® license and brought everything he learned in the field — discipline, precision, and a commitment to keeping every client fully informed — to the real estate business.
Directional drilling is about keeping a well on the exact path it needs to follow — adjusting in real time, communicating clearly, and never losing sight of the goal. Frank applies that same mindset to every real estate transaction: keep the client informed, stay on course, and deliver the outcome they came for.

Outside of work Frank is a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan — since 1978, so he's been through the good times and the bad. He's also been riding motorcycles for 36 years, which tells you everything you need to know about his comfort level with the open road and a clear horizon ahead.
